Remembering Danno

It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely death of Dan Decoteau, an incredible person we were fortunate to have as a member of the BBC&C family for more than four years. Dan passed away from a traumatic brain injury suffered in a tragic accident.

Although “Danno” was an invaluable member of our team, his #1 priority was always his family. The love he had for his family, especially his children, was boundless. He proudly spoke of them and their family vacations, birthday parties, camping trips, and more. Dan was avid outdoorsman and adventurer and passed along his love for the outdoors to many others.

In the workplace Dan was greatly respected and admired by all. Dan walked into the building each and every day with the same positive attitude and smile on his face. He worked the busiest shifts possible, managing dozens of employees and hundreds of customers with incredible grace and composure. In 13 years of gaming experience, Dan mentored and helped to mold the careers of countless colleagues. He protected his team, provided constructive feedback when needed, and was trusted implicitly by everyone in the organization. Quite simply, Dan was the model for a successful leader, in any line of work.

For his family, friends, co-workers, fellow Veterans, and the local poker community, the loss of Dan Decoteau is immeasurable.

A celebration of life will be held for Dan at the Brookline Event Center at 32 Proctor Hill Rd, Brookline, NH 03033 on Sunday, August 15th at 1pm.

As such, please be advised that BBC&C will hold special business hours on 8/15 to allow our team members to attend the memorial service.

The casino will be CLOSED with the exception of the previously scheduled Day 2 of our Multi Flight poker tournament at 12PM. Cash poker and table games will not be available. The Club will remain open for pool, patio, bar and all general food & beverage service.
